Milla Lewis (UK) is a filmmaker and photographer whose work focuses on the intersection of history, memory and myth. Drawn to the discord between the stories that form us and the stories we tell ourselves, her work touches on themes including sexuality, belonging, and political/personal power, as a means of exploring darker subliminal worlds.

Milla has written and directed multiple short films, and was the recipient of the Directing Mentorship Programme at the Polish National Film School in Łódź (2021/22). She received First Class (Hons) degree in Photography in 2019, and her photography work has won multiple awards and been exhibited across the UK, including at the Tate Modern. Her films have been selected for international festivals.
